Outstanding Equine Employee: Angel Strader

Angel StraderLet's give it up for our newest Outstanding Equine Employee – Angel Strader. Angel has been an employee of the Southern States Reidsville Service store in North Carolina for the past two years. Our North Carolina Southern States Horse Feed Rep., Meredith Bernard, says "Angel takes time out of her own schedule to personally visit Reidsville Service equine customers and make sure their needs are being met and any questions they have are answered. Her outgoing personality and dedication to her job make Angel a true asset to Southern States and we are fortunate to have her on our team!"

Angel is quick to admit that it's easy to enjoy and excel in her position at Southern States because it is truly her dream job. Not only does she get to put her equestrian knowledge and passion to the test every time she comes to work, her job also forces her to stay on top of her "game." Thanks to Southern States commitment to providing knowledgeable nutrition solutions, Angel has attended two FeedMaster® Programs and is a certified FeedMaster Feed and Animal Nutrition Specialist.

Angel is a busy lady at work and during her personal time. She's a farm owner and the primary caretaker of seven horses and six dogs – did we mention she's also a wife and mother to a four-year old? Though her after-hours life is a handful, it allows Angel to truly relate to her customers. And that makes her essential to her store.

Angel was a believer in Southern States horse feed long before she even worked for the company, "Southern States horse feeds are second to none, my horses are proof. I am very picky about the health and well being of my animals and I only trust Southern States feeds for them. Our feeds are packed with premium ingredients plus vitamins and minerals to keep my horses looking and feeling great. My husband always says to me, in a joking way, that I put my animals first. I just believe that my animals deserve what is best for them."

We'd like to thank Angel for her dedication to Southern States. Keep up the stellar work!
