Questions and Answers about Legends Senior versus Legends Maturity
1. Why the change from Legends Maturity to Legends Senior?
The name “Senior” has become well recognized to describe a feed for older horses and there is confusion with horse owners and veterinarians when any other name is used. We need to take advantage of that and have the name for our Legends older horse feed known as “Legends Senior”. Also, by changing the formula from a “pelleted” to a “pelleted/extruded” formula, Legends Senior has a formula that is similar to the major senior horse feeds in the country, Purina Equine Senior and Nutrena Life Design Senior. Southern States now has a feed that is similar to the most popular senior horse feeds in the country and that will allow us to compete for a larger share of the senior horse feed market.
2. What are the major differences between Legends Maturity and Legends Senior?
