Trefoil Empire 3lb is a deep rooted, short-lived perennial, featuring finer stems and more leaves than alfalfa. Depending on the weather, Trefoil Empire can grow from 12" to 30" tall. This non-bloating legume contains bright yellow flowers with brown to purple seed pods. Easily spread this seed in your pasture or use for erosion control. This high quality forage is planted at 4lb to 6 lb per acre with cool season perennial grasses using a cultipacker-seeder in late August-September.
