Southern States Lawn Starter is formulated to help establish new lawns and ornamentals. It is also excellent to raise phosphorus levels in established lawns and ornamental beds or for use before overseeding established lawns. Added magnesium is essential for the maintenance of the green color in turf and also influences the mobility of phosphorus within the plant. For new lawns, work the required amount of Lawn Starter into the top 4 " of soil before seeding. After seeding the lawn, water thoroughly and keep damp until grass appears.
