Feeding Instructions
Free Choice: Provide horses with EquiMin Horse Mineral in a mineral feeder in the stall or pasture. When starting to feed EquiMin Horse Mineral, remove salt and other mineral products. Monitor intake to verify the recommended daily amount of EquiMin consumed. Feed EquiMin continuously near horse's water source and protect from rain if mineral feeder is located outside. If EquiMin Horse Mineral consumption is greater or less than recommended, do the following: To increase consumption, increase the number of mineral feeders in several locations or locate mineral feeder closer to water source. To decrease consumption, move mineral feeders away from water source and offer free-choice plain salt in block form.
Top-Dressed Over Feed: For additional mineral and vitamin supplementation, provide EquiMin Horse Mineral over grain fed at the following rates (a two-ounce scoop is provided in pail):
