Positive Attributes
Yield – Yields equal to or better than most industry-leading hybrids in its maturity class.
Insect tolerance – Contains Dow Hurculex insect protection from European corn borers, southwestern corn borers, western bean cutworms, black cutworms, fall armyworms and others.
Herbicide Tolerance – Tolerates Ignite herbicide application.
Silage – Very good tonnage numbers and even better digestibility of fodder and grain make this an excellent dual-purpose hybrid.
Adaptation – It yields throughout the south and handles moderate levels of stress as well as high-yield conditions. It ears very well with consistent large ears in the row.
Southern Rust – This hybrid is fairly resistant to southern rust and most other diseases found in the south.
Population Response – It responds well to higher populations better management, but remains solid under average growing conditions.
