Mixing And Feeding Guidelines

Use the plastic cup provided to measure out the milk replacer powder. Each cup holds about 1/4 pound of powder. Mix 1 level cup of Land O'Lakes Mare's Match in 1 quart of 110-120 degrees F. water by slowly adding powder to water while stirring. Feeding temperature should be 90-100 degrees F.

The objective of a good foal raising program is to produce a healthy horse at maturity.

Insure that the foal receives colostrum as soon as possible after birth.
Mix one plastic cup (approx. 1/4#, provided) in 1 quart of warm water (110-120 degrees F.).

Completely sanitize feeding equipment daily.
Reseal plastic liner between feedings to maintain freshness.
