Full-Feeding
A quantity of feed is placed in feed hoppers troughs or rabbit-feed crock from which rabbits may eat at will. Such rabbits are said to be IuD-fed. Growing rabbits and lactating rabbits are usually full-fed.
Restricted-Feeding
Feed is placed in hoppers once or twice daily. If the quantity is less than the full amount desired, it is considered restricted feeding. Restricted feeding is often practiced with herd bucks, dry does and young breeding stock in order to prevent animals from becoming too fat.
