Feeding Guidelines:

Adult Cats: The average adult cat will usually eat one 8-ounce cup of Southern States Cat Food per day. Start with (1) cup. If not completely eaten, replace with a fresh, but slightly smaller, amount each day.

Kittens: When kittens are 3-6 weeks old, they should be fed (1-2) tablespoons of Southern States Cat Food moistened with warm water, milk, or broth. Gradually increase the amount until the kittens are weaned, usually at 8 weeks of age.

Pregnancy: Up to 1 1/2 times the normal adult cat food intake is recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Lactation: During lactation, 2-3 times the average adult cat food intake may be required for milk production and normal weight maintenance.
