Fertilizer Spreader and Seeder
This spreader is a multi-use implement designed for spreading fertilizer or sowing seed by means of a standard agricultural tractor with 3-point hitch. Heavy-duty construction— tubular steel frame fi tted with Categories I and II combination- lift pins. Hopper capacity is 640 pounds for fertilizer. 26-point dose calibration system allows spreading pattern to be set to any angle and extra long shut-off handle can be operated from tractor seat on many tractors. Wind drift shield on hopper exterior helps insure uniform spreading pattern. Extra heavy-duty gearbox with lubrication ports, rod and wheel agitator attachment in hopper and power take-off shaft. Bright orange paint fi nish. Covers 7 to 15 acres per hour. Output per acre is 40 to 4,000 pounds with speeds from 2 to 10 MPH.
