Cooperative Milling Feed Mill Fact Sheet

History

Agway built Co-operative Milling’s core feed mill in 1967. There were several bin and process additions during the next 30 years. In 1996 Agway and Southern States agreed to a joint venture at this facility. A second bagging system, a pellet system, a bulk loadout structure and a major warehouse expansion was performed at that time. Southern States closed down the Baltimore facility upon completion of the expansion. In 2004, Southern States purchased Agway’s interest in Co-operative Milling.
