Welcome to the new Southern States Web Site! We have a new look! In addition, there are a host of additional improvements that we would like to share with you. We hope you enjoy our new web site and make the most of this growing resource.

Product Catalog

With our online Customer Feedback Survey many of you let us know how we're doing and how we can improve our service to you.

One of the most frequent requests has been to make available a far more comprehensive product listing as well as product pricing. We are pleased to present our updated product catalog, filled with several thousand of our best selling items.

Over the coming months, we will work to expand the number of products in the catalog and begin to offer online ordering options for your convenience.

Please be aware that this catalog is not a full listing of all the products and brands available at Southern States stores and dealers, only a partial listing. Please check your local store for the full range of products available from Southern States, as well as local pricing options.

Product Reviews & Blogs (Registered Users Only)

We want to hear from you! As a registered user, you will find areas throughout the site that you can give us feedback on your experiences with our products and the information provided on our site.

• Product Reviews: Each product has a star rating and comment area at the bottom of the page. Post your feedback on the products and brands you have purchased in the past, and read what others have to say about the same products.
• Article Blogs: The Southern States web site has always contained a wealth of information geared towards helping you in your growing needs. Now we'd like to hear your thoughts on these same topics. When a new topic is posted, registered users may post their comments and/or questions on the topic at the bottom of the page.

• Please keep your comments clean and on topic. Comments / ratings posted that are obvious "flames" or vulgar will be removed without notice. Southern States reserves the right to review and if deemed necessary remove any comment from the site.
• Southern States does not guarantee the accuracy of the user content generated on this site. Please read our Terms and Conditions page for details.
• While we will respond to what questions we can, we do not respond to every single comment posted on the site.
• Southern States makes this community feature available for the benefit of our registered users and online community. Please make use of it as such.
• Report Inappropriate Content: On both product reviews and blogs you will see links that will allow you to report anything off color or inappropriate on the web site to a moderator. We appreciate your help in keeping this community clean.

Wish List Coupons (Registered Users Only)

A new feature of our catalog lets you create a personal wish list. Select the products you want, print out the list and take it into your local Southern States. Please be advised that not all products are stocked at all locations, so some products may require a special order.

But wait, there's more! If you're a registered user, you get an added benefit to your wish lists. If you create a wish list totalling at least $50, a personalized coupon will be added to the list when you print it. Take the list into the store, purchase at least $50 worth of products on the list, and receive $5 off your current purchase. It's our thanks to you for signing up on the Southern States web site.

Personalized Coupons (Registered Users Only)

If you have registered in the past year, you will recognize this feature. Newly registered users recieve a coupon good for $5 off of their next $25 purchase at Southern States. On our Coupons page, we've made many manufacturer coupon and rebate forms available exclusively to our registered users. We also post coupons based on the interests you checked when you registered with our site.

Love your dogs? Check back for coupons on Southern States pet foods. Looking to exercise that green thumb this year? Coupons on lawn and garden supplies would be a great start. Your coupons, your savings, from your friends at Southern States.

E-Mail Offers (Registered Users Only)

As a registered user, you have the option of receiving regular e-mails from Southern States about the latest specials and sales available at your local stores. Circulars, seasonal sales as well as the latest news are delivered right to your e-mail box. As always, we value your privacy, and will never share or sell your email address to anyone.

When registering, please provide us a list of your interests, from lawn care or vegetable gardening, to fertilizer spreading, animal health, pet care or petroleum products. Based on your interests we will send you tips, how-to guides as well as personalized coupons (see above) usable on future purchases.

If you have already registered, but did not get a chance to provide this information, feel free to do so at any time by updating your profile after you have signed in.

Updated Store Locator

We have also updated our Store Locator with the latest information on our 1,200+ stores and dealers, and it has several new options for finding the closest store that provides the services you need. Each store has its own page and information posted, including store hours, maps, Manager photos and contact information, as well as the posting of local events and specials per location. Photos of the stores are being added as well to make it even easier to find us.

Bonus for Registered Users: Registered users may also tag specific stores as their 'favorites' and will soon be able to receive notices of updates and specials available from their favorite Southern States locations. Stay tuned for further updates!
