The Asheboro, North Carolina store celebrated their store remodel and reset with an Open House event Thursday through Saturday, April 15th through 17th, 2010.  A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday morning to help celebrate 60 years of Southern States in the Asheboro community.

Grand prizes included a $200 Southern States gift card given away at the end of each day, along with a $25 gift card given away every hour.  The Southwest High School FFA served free hotdogs on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The weather was sunny, with temps in the mid-60s for a great spring event. The store saw many new faces, as well as many familiar ones. Advertised items included a wide variety of product lines from animal health products, wild bird feed and feeders, to specials such as gun safes and propane tank refills. The newly remodeled nursery saw very brisk sales of veggies and plants of all types.  Congratulations to Manager Frank Thompson and his staff on their hard work and continued success.
