Agronomy Operations Manager – Greg has been with Southern States for over 27 years. He enjoys learning about the ever-evolving ag industry of new products and new technologies.
Territory Sales Manager – Kevin has worked for Southern States for over 30 years, specializing in crops, seed, fertilizer and chemicals. He grew up on a small family farm with cattle, hogs, row crops and tobacco. Kevin attended North Carolina State University and earned his bachelor’s degree in ag systems technology.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Russell grew up on a family farm in Mt. Olive and currently farms a small acreage of corn and soybeans. He has worked in the farm industry for over 18 years, having worked for Southern States for over 18 years and Nutrien Ag Solutions for 5 years. Russell is very passionate about preserving and protecting farm land from development and believes it's critical that we protect the land for future production of food and fiber.
Agronomy Sales Manager - Gerald has been with Southern States for over 13 years. He grew up on a tobacco, corn and soybean farm in North Carolina and specializes in fertilizer, seed and chemicals. He is passionate about helping his customers with fertilization needs and improving their crop yields.
Agronomy Operations Manager – Brooks grew up on a 1,200-acre row crop farm that grew corn, wheat and soybeans. He farmed with his family for 12 years after college. Before joining Southern States in 2015, he worked in grain procurement and handling and milling operations. Brooks is passionate about helping customers establish and maintain sustainable farming practices.
Agronomy Sales Manager - A member of the Southern States team for over 24 years, David owns and operates a 3,600 acre farm, where he grows cotton and soybeans. He is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and holds a degree from Pembroke State University.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Ben has been with Southern States for over 5 years and specializes in corn, wheat, soybeans, cotton and tobacco. He holds a degree in ag business management from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA).
Agronomy Operations Manager – Mike was raised on a tobacco, soybean, hay and beef cattle farm operation. He’s been working in the farm industry since 1983, starting off at Farmers Cooperative Exchange before spending the last 33 years at Southern States. He has won a number of awards and accolades, including: 3x Presidential Award for Operating Excellence, Manager of the Year Services, 2x Regional Store Manager of the Year, Top Net Promoter Service Award, and Best Operating Store Award. Mike specializes in Production Agriculture: Flue Cured Tobacco, Corn, Soybeans and Livestock Production.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Aubrey grew up on a livestock farm operation and specializes in fertility and pest management in row crops and pasture/hay. He holds a degree in business administration from Catawba College and was involved in FFA in high school, serving on the local high school FFA alumni council. As an adolescent, Aubrey showed livestock and horses on the national level.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Charles was born and raised on a 300-acre tobacco farm and specializes in fertilizer and seed. He earned his degree from Clemson University, majoring in agricultural mechanization and business, with a minor in plant environmental science and row crop production.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Brian was raised on a 1,700-acre row crop operation that farmed cotton, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. He’s worked for Southern States for over 21 years, specializing in row crops and chemicals. His goal is to help farmers get higher yields out of their crops.
Agronomy Sales Manager - Raised on a small tobacco, corn and soybean farm, Alan has been in agriculture his whole life. He’s been with Southern States for over 8 years and holds a degree in Agronomy from North Carolina State University.
Agronomy Sales Manager – Brian grew up on a 750-acre operation where he and his family farmed hay, row crops and raised beef cow calves. He has over 14 years of experience with Southern States and is a member of North Carolina Farm Bureau.
