Features

HerdFirst 27:18 EZBOV/Fly Stop is a complete Milk Replacer to be fed to dairy and beef herd replacement calves. For control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii in replacement calves.

Benefits

Built with an ideal amino acid ratio to support accelerated lean muscle growth. Formula comprised of fatty acids balanced for optimal digestibility and development in all seasons of weather. SmartCare® technology for prebiotic and antioxidant activity to support gut health and balanced immunity.

Feed 2 to 4 quarts of clean, disease free colostrum within 4 hours of birth and again 12 hours later. Starting day 2, mix and feed milk replacer according to the chart below per calf twice a day*: Hand feed at a rate of 1 mg of lasalocid per 2.2 lb of body weight per day. Thoroughly mix this milk replacer powder with warm water and feed immediately. When preparing large batches (i.e., anything other than individual calf servings) keep the mixture agitated while dispensing into individual feeding containers to prevent settling. 1.5 pounds of this milk replacer powder will medicate 100 lbs of body weight. Feed to supply sufficient diflubenzuron to prevent the emergence of adult house flies, stable flies, horn flies, and face flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Start feeding ClariFly® early in the spring, 30 days before flies begin to appear, and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around barns and calf hutches to control adult house and stable flies, which can breed in other decaying organic matter or silage in the area, or that migrate in from other locations. See tag for full feeding instructions.
