Cropping System
All hybrids have diverse strengths and weaknesses that must be considered when determining how they will respond under different cropping systems. Matching the right hybrids to your cropping system will allow you to achieve optimal yield potential.

Genetics
Planting a genetically diverse package of corn hybrids that includes a range of maturities can help reduce the risk of crop yield losses due to specific weather-related stresses. Your Southern States representative can help you match the right genetics to your conditions for optimal yield potential in each field.

Plant Nutrition
Set yield goals appropriately and feed plants to help achieve your highest yield goals. During the growing season, the NutriSolutions 360 system allows you to pinpoint your crop's nutritional needs and treat deficiencies before yield potential is compromised.

Traits
Transgenic traits, which add herbicide tolerance and insect protection against above ground and below ground pests, can dramatically enhance corn yield potential in ways not previously possible. Many of today’s latest traits are now offered in a single-bag refuge system, also known as refuge in a bag (RIB). RIB systems include the refuge seeds in the bag along with traited seeds, allowing farmers to plant an entire field with just one product.

Plant Population
At nearly 200 Answer Plot® locations, hybrids are carefully evaluated for their specific response to plant populations. The data from these evaluations are used to determine our response-to-population (RTP) scores, which are available from your Southern States representative and through the R7® Tool.

Soil Type
Different soil textures (e.g., the percentage of sand-, silt- and clay-sized particles in the soil) can dramatically affect the emergence and growth of a corn plant, as well as its ability to recover from heat and moisture stress during different growth stages of the corn life cycle. Work with your Southern States representative, and use Answer Plot® data and the R7® Tool to help select hybrids that include the type of root system morphology (fibrous versus penetrating) that will perform best with the soil texture in each field.

Crop Protection
To help achieve high wehat yield potential and optimize your input investment, it's important to protect your crop from weed competition while reducing insect and yield-limiting disease outbreaks.

Plant Nutrition
Set yield goals appropriately and feed plants to help achieve your highest yield goals.

Genetics
Planting more than one variety and a range of maturities and genetics are vital to successful wheat yields.

Plant Population
The optimal plant population for winter wheat affects many factors, primarily yield.

Crop Protection
Your Southern States representative can help you select the right crop protection products to match your soybean production system and help protect your seed investment.

Cropping System
Maturity, yield potential, plant type, lodging resistance and seed size, as well as disease and pest resistance, play major roles in how soybean varieties perform.

Even Better Together
WinPak® soybean varieties from CROPLAN® seed are a unique combination of two varieties that provide an exceptional level of stability throughout the field.

Genetics
Different soybean genetics are best suited for different situations. Understanding these differences is key to selecting the best product for your fields.
